Pastor Mary E. Burton began her ministry in 1995 under the leadership of God Deliverance Center Ministry until 1998.  Under this ministry, she ministered as pastor for five years.  During this time, God began to lead the ministry in a different direction.  She waited for the right season to move in that direction. She wanted to make sure it was in God’s timing. She knew if she moved out of God’s timing, it would hamper the way God wanted to move and bless.  After her fifth anniversary celebration, Pastor Burton decided it was time to name the ministry which God had birth in her belly. She decided two weeks after her celebration to step out on faith and follow God’s instructions.  At that point, a meeting was scheduled with the Overseer, Pastor Margaret Castillo.  In attendance at the meeting were Pastor Margaret Castillo, Pastor Mare E. Burton, and Evangelist Laurina Nowell.  The meeting was conducted at Shoney’s Restaurant in Camden, SC.   The Lord had already revealed to Pastor Castillo the purpose of the meeting. When they walked in the restaurant, and took a seat, Pastor Castella said, “ I know why you’re here, I have been waiting, it’s time”.   Pastor Burton was expecting a different reaction; but knew also that through prayer, it was time.  They fellowshipped and said their Prayer @ 7:00 pm

Bible Study @ 7:30 pmbyes.  On July 17, 1998 at 9:45 A.M., New Hope Deliverance Ministry was birthed.  With the blessing of God, New Hope has been moving under the power of the Holy Ghost.  Pastor Mary E. Burton has been a powerhouse in this ministry.  Her motto is:  To God Be The Glory.
